Roby Commercial was launched in 2009 as the third member of the Roby Family of Companies, focused exclusively on commercial projects crafted with the same exceptional quality, detail, and customer-focused care that our founding company's clients have enjoyed since 1950. 

​Andrew Roby (Robicsek), a Hungarian immigrant, embarked on a journey that would shape the future of luxury residential contracting in Charlotte—starting as a one-person remodeling and handyman service. Two years later, Roby's commitment to excellence led him to hire Glenn Haston as Superintendent. The two formed a formidable partnership, working together for over 25 years. Their combined vision and hard work laid the foundation for a renowned company tackling significant historical residential renovations. In 1976, Haston bought the firm outright, and today, the second and third generations of the Haston family continue the tradition, carrying forward the legacy of an immigrant's dream turned reality.
