PITCHIN' FOR WISHES ANNUAL CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
Welcome to our 17th annual event!

​Since 2008, the Roby Family of Companies has been building a better community through the success of this tournament, a two time​ Guinness World Record setting event. 

​Over the last 16 years, thanks to generous sponsors, donors and players, the event has raised over $2.7 million for Make-A-Wish® Central & Western North Carolina and other local charities.

And we have no plans to slow down!  We’re on a mission to raise another $300,000 in 2024 alone. ​

About those Guinness World Records...

The 2011 Pitchin' for Wishes tournament broke a Guinness World Record for the Largest Cornhole Tournament with 128 registered teams, and then we broke our own record in 2012 with 144 teams competing. 
Join the Roby Family of Companies and Harris Teeter as we celebrate 17 years of helping grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses in our local community. 

If we hit our $300,000 fundraising goal, the organization will be able to grant the wishes of 40 deserving kids right here in our own backyard! 

​The tournament features a NCAA bracket style cornhole competition, along with good food, cold drinks, music, appearances by local mascots, kids’ activities and more. 

In 2023, 128 teams competed in the tournament as hundreds of spectators cheered them on. Interested in pitchin’ in?  Sponsor, donate or play in this year’s event and help make wishes come true! Don’t play cornhole?  That’s OK!  Show your support by just showing up.  This a family friendly event that is FREE to the general public.  Everyone is welcome!
